Readers voice makes this agonizing to listen to

Dislike because of the awful readers voice. The message is completely lost because the delivery is so awful. I heard so great comments on this text, I never thought would be issue with the voice reading the text. I am gobsmacked that this was even produced. Totally ruins this. :-(. I am reading this book now so I can finally appreciate the content and it is so hard to not hear this awful voice in my head. Mhy question- why- why would anyone produce with the reader they chose.
