Secrets Near Goldfinch Gap

Emma Finch is stuck at her job writing throwaway articles for a birdwatching magazine. In fact, she’s starting to wonder if her editor even reads her work. But then, she gets an unexpected email: an invitation to interview a legendary folk singer known for writing one of the most beloved songs among birdwatchers. It’s not long before Emma travels to a small mountain town to get the interview of a lifetime.

While the town of Sourwood appears quaint and cozy on the surface, it’s not long before things start to go amiss. First, Davy Pinesmith refuses to give Emma the interview he had promised. Then, Emma learns that there has been a murder near a famous hiking trail known as Goldfinch Gap. It’s the same place where someone mysteriously disappeared 60 years ago.
