This was a very very cute and adorable book, I love Penelope the pig, she is so cute, waiting on book 3 K

Wonderfully fun series!

In book 2 of the Stella Bixby’s Magical Mane mystery series, Ellie Vanderwick continues to settle in her new home in Cliff Haven Iowa. She’s making new friends and busy teaching some exercise classes to a bridal party, renovating her barn, and training for the trot-n-tater Thanksgiving run. Unfortunately Ellie is present when a member of the bridal party dead body is found and wants to help investigate. The book is well written and the mystery is good. The new character Xander, is a nice addition to the cast. There’s still some sadness in her, and I hope Ellie gets more info about her Mom. The narration by Shannon Nicole Locke is fabulous. She creates uniquely voiced characters that are perfect in the story. Her performance brings the characters and story to life. I can’t wait for the 3rd audiobook!

Magic

Another great mystery book by Stella Bixby. The lead characters are still having trouble being accepted by everyone in their new community.

Another death suspected murder near them doesn’t help. Enjoy this book as you try and solve if the death is a murder and who did it.

Looking forward to another book by this author and narrator.

Amazing Series!

This is the second book in the Magical Mane Mystery Series, a magical cozy mystery! I love this series! Ellie's sleuthing is entertaining. She is such a wonderful character, smart, sunshine and strong. She has a cute pig named Penelope. The plot is well crafted, intriguing, and captivating, filled with murders, intrigue and twists and turns. I liked the humor in the story. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. Shannon Nicole Locke did a spectacular job bringing this story to life. She has a beautiful voice, and an outstanding range of voices. I enjoyed it. I love the small town vibes. Looking forward to listening to Spotlight Scanda, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series!

Unexpectedly fun story.

I really enjoyed this fun story filled with likeable, relatable characters, a little pinch of magic, and a delightful cozy bit of mystery.
