The Winter Raver & The Servants of Kali

A criminal brotherhood whose worship revolves around the Goddess Kali and her demon lover threatens to take over the North, the Baltic trade routes being the ultimate prize. They made pawns of desperate tribesmen who lived along the Black Sea until driven out by the Huns, promising them land if they help defeat the Danes. They are joined by a group of malcontents and outlaws from Gotland and the Count of Flanders, whom they have intimidated into joining them. The righteous cause of King Bjornson is upheld by his Runemaster, his Storm-Queen wife, and their daughter Gudrin who is determined to follow in her father’s footsteps.
