A Story with a Difference!

I originally read this book in November 2023 and have now had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook version. This is a really good collaboration between the authors and the narrator making it a story well worth listening to (or reading).
I found the subject matter quite interesting – Vikings and really strong women and it was with absolute delight that I watched as Hedda and Eldberg went from enemies to lovers and then on to their fabulous happy ever after.
Their gradual building of love and trust was quite engrossing and the pace was perfect. Such wonderful characters, each strong in their own way.
I can hardly wait for the rest of this series because this one was just that good!

I Loved Hedda & Eldberg sparks flow between these two amazing characters this was a great start to a new series .
I love Viking story there was a ton of steamy scenes also a outstanding story don't we all need a shipwrecked Viking.
Gareth's narration was very good I really enjoyed the music between the chapters..

Unique concept! I throughly enjoyed this.

I love Vikings in general but man was this a ride! I think everyone will be surprised by the unique turnaround in the leading characters roles!

Bound and Betrothed

This is not my normal genre of book. I wanted to see if I would like it. I did, it was different. The premise of the book is that a group of men have been shipwrecked and are discovered by a group of women, widowed or abandoned, who discover the men and against the protest by the dominant female in the group, attempt to heal and save them. It was engaging to listen to because the narrator was exceptionally talented and good! It starts slowly and builds as the story develops. I don’t want to give spoilers so will not delve into it specifically, however by the end of the book I was rooting for all to end well. It is to carry over into the insuing books, but I must say it is an interesting and engaging novel. I would highly recommended this to anyone considering the Gothic genre of novel and especially for those that it is their preference.

The audiobook was provided to me by the author for my honest opinion of the book.

great story

I enjoyed listening to this audio book. The story was fantastic. I liked the fact that the sea sound effects were added to the performance, it really enhanced the story.
