Nezha, son of Li Jing, the Commander-in-Chief of Chentang Pass, was mischievous by nature yet endowed with astonishing divine power. One day, atop the city gate tower, curiously drawing the Qiankun Bow — the sacred treasure guarding the pass — he inadvertently loosed an Earth-Shaking arrow. Manipulated in secret by the villainous Shen Gongbao, this arrow tore across the sky and tragically killed Biyun Tongzi, a disciple of Lady Rocky from the White Bone Cave on Mount Skull in the northwest.
Grieving deeply for her beloved disciple, Lady Rocky, overwhelmed with sorrow and rage, descended from Mount Skull to demand accountability at Chentang Pass. Initially arrogant and youthful, Nezha refused to admit his fault, sparking a fierce confrontation. Faced with Lady Rocky's formidable magical treasures, Li Jing and his wife were filled with anxiety. Although their eldest son Jinzha and second son Muzha strove to protect their younger brother, they could not withstand Lady Rocky's ten thousand years of cultivation.
At this critical moment, Nezha's master, Taiyi Zhenren, appeared and brought Nezha back to the Golden Light Cave on Mount Qianyuan. Lady Rocky soon followed, confronting Taiyi Zhenren before the cave entrance. Just as the Nine-Dragon Divine Fire Hood was about to refine Lady Rocky in a hair's breadth of time, Taiyi Zhenren detected an anomaly within the treasure, exposing Shen Gongbao's conspiracy to sow discord. Jinxia Tongzi, long burdened by guilt, also revealed the truth that the treasure had been manipulated.
Confronted with the truth, Nezha underwent a psychological transformation from evasion to responsibility. Resolutely severing his connection to the source of the Spirit Pearl, he assisted Lady Rocky in recovering Biyun Tongzi's soul. Ultimately, the story broke the fatalistic cycle of "blood for blood": Nezha was sentenced to labor in the White Bone Cave to atone for his sins, where he turned enemy into friend with Caiyun Tongzi; likewise, hostilities ceased between Lady Rocky, the Li family, and Taiyi Zhenren.
This calamity was no longer a prelude to ruin, but a baptism of responsibility and growth — the moment the unruly Spirit Pearl finally stepped onto the path of a hero.
This narrative is presented in both English and Chinese.
