Good addition to this series

Talk about a relationship that started at hello! I enjoyed Kane and Phoebe's story from the first chapter - heck the first page.

Kane reeling from the recent events that have been occurring to the important people in his life is feeling guilty about such events and his inability to prevent them from happening. He meets Phoebe after she goes running from a bear while hiking with a friend. The pair have an instant relationship that ends shortly after it started. They restarted their relationship after they were attacked and it was unclear who the attack was aimed at.

Phoebe enters her relationship with Kane quickly but struggles with her place in life in regards to her family. She has an over protective group of siblings that treat her like a child while her mother is absentee and her father is too busy working only to find out later that she and her siblings were his secret family. She struggles with drawing the boundaries with her family while having her relationship with Kane.

The pair had chemistry that was off the charts and their story moved along well. I enjoyed the return of characters from the previous books in the series. I enjoyed this book and thought that it was a great addition to the series. I also look forward to what is to come with this series.

Holy mega coaster ride! I don't know where to begin. Kane and Phoebe had a short-lived relationship that ended just as it began for reasons unknown. But Kane is the first person Phoebe turns to when she needs help with a stalker. Kane will do just about anything to be in Phoebe's life even if it's merely to serve as her personal bodyguard. There are some explosively shocking moments that are pivotal to the story and to other characters in the Montgomery Legacy Series. Suffice it to say that, just when you have the author figured out she'll throw a double whammy loop with a great big drop from up above that will have your jaw scraping the ground. Yup... I still haven't gotten over it. Add in Isabelle Ruther and Aiden Snow as the narrators. They had me riveted in place as I listened to them weave the author's tale of intrigue and suspense with the HEA at the end.

Great story!

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention the entire time. I loved getting to know Kane and Phoebe and watching them get a second chance. Phoebe and Kane have been broken up for awhile but both still have feelings for the other. Phoebe goes to Kane to ask for help because she has a stalker that has been calling and leaving her notes. The story was well done and I loved watching these two find their way back together and a way to communicate through some of their issues that they were having last time. This story had intrigue as well as they were trying to figure out who was stalking Phoebe as well as the runaway security specialist that tried to kill the team. The twists were great as well and I am excited to see how they play out in the future books. Very excited for the next one and for the Cage brothers spinoff series.
The narrators did a great job with the story and bringing it to life with the characters and everything that was going on. It really added to the story.

𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 by Carrie Ann Ryan is the 6th book in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series, featuring a second chance romance for Kane and Phoebe that brought all sweet and spicy elements I love, plus some mind-blowing plot twists enhanced even more by the performances of Aiden Snow and Isabelle Ruther!! Wow! What a roller coaster! I also love a creative meet-cute, and this one was a definite winner!😅 Both narrators navigated the emotions, the passion, and the massive number of characters beautifully!! So well done!!

The growth through second chances is beautiful

There is something special about second chance romance. The way you get to see how things went wrong and the growth to do things differently and work harder and to feel deeper. I love that this book starts with the unique way Phoebe and Kane met. The twists and turns of them finding their way along with the drama of what life was throwing their way made for an amazing story. Carrie Ann Ryan knows how to evoke emotion through her words and this is a true testament to her abilities.
The narrators, Aiden Snow and Isabelle Ruther brought these characters to life in such a beautiful way. I love getting to really hear to emotions and impacts of the words through audio books.
