I enjoyed this book a lot!!

Definitely worth a credit!! Kept my attention, perfect amount of spice and slow burn, with a slight twist towards the end!!

Kept me entertained

Loved Vanessa! A strong, intelligent and courageous woman that kept Dante on his heels. I really enjoyed the interaction that they had love hate relationship. Also liked Elias the twisted MMA fighter. He’s a psychopath with a heart. The Raiders did a great job. On the next book in the series.

Not typical mafia man

I’ll start off by saying the narrators are great! The story has good bones but I normally don’t read about mafia men that are so “open” with their woman, although she is said to like it. Plus he puts her in danger knowingly and I’m not used to that either. So, sadly I’m not interested in the second book because I can tell just by the sample the MMC is an arsehole. And someone left a review that confirmed my suspicions. Some may like these types of men but I like mine more protective.

Gripping

Trying to outrun her past and to stay safe , the best safe spot is with the enemy.

I'm not typically a fan of mafia storylines but this one did it right. Reminds me of the movie 365 in the way that the chemiatry is evident immediately.
It's llonger than most books I choose as well but I did not even mind that due to the great writing and narration. I'm not a fan of saying this either, but nothing else will do....Chef's Kiss!!😘❤️🔥

Hot sexy males voice !! Wow

Totally loved the story. Loved Dante’s voice. So sultry. It was perfect for a mafia guys voice. Vanessa played her part awesome too. This was one of the best mafia stories I’ve listened too. So glad I bought it. Now on to the other ones.

Enjoyed

Sometimes I like my romance a little dark. This book did a good job of meeting that as well as having a love story too. If you like this type of romance I recommend this book.
