With a dash of humor, a dollop of Southern charm, and a peek at current social issues in the mix, it’s a fun romp around East Texas to solve a murder mystery of the cozy kind.

Good story

I didn't care for AI narration. Stories are more realistic sounding with human narrator voice intonation. Also aunt was a bit troubling as character.

Ai- Never Again!!!

It took everything I had to get through this book. The artificial intelligence used to read this book does a horrendous. The flow is off. There’s no intonation, there’s a lot of awkward pauses, fits and starts. Sounds very robotic.

It takes away from the story. Part of me wanted to just delete and move forward to my next book. It was choppy and a lack of expression where it would have easily added to the experience.

Beware.

AI narration sucks!!!

It's a good story but the AI narration is awful. It just reads the book. Boring!!! It takes away from the book. No Accents, voice inflections or anything. This book is good if you can deal with AI narrator. The narrators are supposed to bring the books to life! Audible's decision to use AI is a very bad one!!!....My opinion. AI has nothing on human narrators. I hope Ms. Vandiver has this book narrated again by a human narrator who can bring her book to life the way it deserves.

Voice generated was awful. Didn’t enjoy that at all Like real people’s voices. Came off as unreal

I hated the narrator it had me so confused on who was talking. Prefer live speakers
