Cute story

A cute story with an unexpected villain and ending. I loved the cat and dog pets. As the first book in a series, you have to expect lots of characters. Unfortunately there were so many that it was often hard to keep everyone straight.

This is the second audiobook that I've listened to with computer generated narration. My first experience was so bad that I couldn't listen beyond the third chapter. This book was better and I was able to finish it. However the narration left much to be desired. I'm glad it was free as part of my subscription. Good story though.

It is a very Cute story but virtual voice did not do it justice; especially with “mind reading”

A nice short lesson with a lot of potential great plotline nice setting.

The series has a lot of potential, however I would have liked to have had much more character development than what occurred. Most of the book. Every other comment about the main characters was related to the sexual tension between them. I like a a little romance in my cozy mysteries, but almost every other comment by supporting characters or every other thought by the main characters related to their sexual tension. I’m hoping the second book in the series has much more character development.

Story was good but all of chapter 9 skipped so badly I have no idea what was happening in the story
