Junior, the oldest, was an astute businessman and new leader. Joan was a teacher. Joseph, the brother, no one wanted to fight. Rose fell in love with the wrong man. Gladys, the youngest, helped Rose through tough times.

"If the Elders Call" is a fictional family saga, a combination of "Roots" and "Django" that will leave you cheering. The thriller explodes with energy, realism, and unique characters.

The resilience

I liked the story. It was difficult to listen to at times . I would have preferred a narrator with a different voice.

AI Voice?

I liked the story, disliked the excessive profanity, and had an outright disdain for the AI voice used for reading. The voice was choppy and connected words that were meant to be separate. The voice was flat in tone and very robotic. Please pay a human next time to read your work.

Wonderful story

I really enjoyed the story, the virtual voice was a bit off and monotone but I still enjoyed it.
