This is an action-packed romance with an HEA and no cliffhangers. It features an over-the-top possessive psychopath and a peculiar medical examiner with a stomach made of steel. There's violence, torture (only of very bad people), dark humor, amazing side characters, and very spicy scenes with blood play. Morality's grey area is quite stretched in this story.

This is book one in the Angels of Wrath Series. Each book follows a different couple.

One of the best Dark romance stories I’ve read!

Loved the back story and the darkness! The characters are great and the heat is amazing.

I love the character, definitely continuing the series to see where and who the characters end up with.

loved the sound of narrator it flowed so smoothly. this was my first time back listening to a audible book in years and after such a great listen will be ordering more. can't wait for next book in series.

Good narration. Decent story.

The blurb for this story caught my attention. It sounded like something my dark soul would appreciate. The sale price and narrators sold me on giving this book a try.

The idea behind the story was interesting. The author delves into certain aspects of psychology that are often misunderstood by the general public. Unfortunately, the execution of the story didn't quite work for me. I think the book could have used a bit more polish. The author told me about the characters, but I wanted the characters to tell me about themselves. I don't think this book worked well as first person. Telling a story about a psychopath is not the same as getting inside the head of a psychopath, and letting them tell the story.

The narration was well done, and I enjoyed both narrators voices. If you are looking for a dark anti-hero story with plenty of steamy scenes, this will be a good read/listen.

Can’t wait to listen to the second one. The narrators did a fantastic job. Found Declan Winter’s via another Mafia series - Vitale Brothers, and I had to check this one out and so glad I did. If you love possessive psycho who is obsessed with his love interest, this series is for you
