An Amazing 8th Instalment to an Incredible Series!

‘Mr. Picture Perfect is about Noah Reed, a shy guy who ironically works at the town’s local newspaper. It’s also about Cole Harding, a guy who seems like he’s got his act together but secretly struggles with insecurity and family problems. Noah is also Cole’s childhood crush and the reason why he figured out he was gay. They used to be ‘forced friends’ because of their moms. Now though, Nadine Strong (matchmaker extraordinaire) has decided to throw a ‘Eligible Bachelors of Spruce’ fundraiser/competition in which she’s making Cole the main attraction. However, Cole only has eyes for Noah and vice-versa. Will this fundraising competition bring them closer together or ultimately drive them both apart?

Okay, so I’m almost officially caught up on this AMAZING series (and I also got my good friend Katrina obsessed with it too, lol). This book is a long one (much like book 5) but it kinda needs to be in order to fully capture and explore the dynamics between Cole and Noah. After initially meeting Cole Harding in book 7, I was surprised to learn just how insecure and mindful he is of how others view him and his family life. See, while he might portray this ‘Mr. Perfect’ facade, he actually has issues just like anyone else… His father is often absent due to work and his mother is an alcoholic, leaving his grandma to basically look after him. Oh, and his mother had a a major falling out with Noah’s mother. Noah Reed is Cole’s childhood crush who despite his job, is incredibly shy and introverted. Basically, the complete opposite of Cole. But, opposites most definitely attract… Literally. Noah is saved by Cole at a crafts festival when a bunch of picture frames almost crush him.

This was so good and a great 8th instalment to my favourite MM romance series! That ending was a bit unexpected but as always so great and I can’t wait to start book 9 soon… Also, super excited for the audiobooks of ‘Forever Strong’ and book 10!

Amazing, so sweet!!

I loved the main characters. I enjoyed that it was happy, basically the entire way through. Low angst. HEA. I love this author, his couples are amazing.

This book is Adorably Cute. This reminds me of my first love. I'm looking to going back to Spruce, Texas in Book # 9!

Another 5 star Spruce Texas story

From book 1 to this book, totally worth the read/listen. All around great. This book has a little more spice to it (not complaining), but still great. Wonderful! Now for the long wait for the next one.

I luv this series! Each of the stories are hilarious heartfelt consuming and real to my heart. Noah with his intelligent innocence is so adorably loveable. Cole with his protective assertiveness yet some insecurity (they both share), is a knight in shining armor. I’ve read the entire series and can’t wait to revisit Spruce with the next book! I love the author reading his own words. Giving life to his characters. Love! Love! Love!
