The Diary of a Female Truck Driver

My name is Donya Howard, a proud resident of the small town of Atlanta, Texas. I am a graduate of Atlanta High School and will always be a proud Atlanta Rabbit. I am 53-years-old, and I am the proud parent of two grown children, Dana and Micaiah, and my first grandson Graysen, age five. I have been through numerous life challenges, including breast cancer. I found out about my breast cancer when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, Dana. God not only was with me during the whole breast cancer ordeal, but also keeping me healthy and allowing me to not only have a little girl, but my son Micaiah a few years later.

One of my most empowering endeavors emerged from mastering the art of driving an 18-wheeler OTR (Over the Road). This career not only proved remarkable, but also dynamically altered the course of my life. Through its challenges and triumphs, it became a defining chapter that reshaped my trajectory in countless ways.

I am looking forward to the future where I am planning on going over the road in either a van or an RV. Travel has always been my passion, and I cannot wait to share that endeavor with you in the future.
