In the past I wasn't a good man. No one had to tell me 'cause I already knew it. I made mistakes and I screwed up more times than I could count. It's what led my ol' lady, Skadi, to leave.

For so long I was angry. In fact, I was furious that she left that I began drowning my sorrows in alcohol. Years had gone by and I still held onto anger because I felt like she abandoned me. But, she didn't. She did what she thought was right. She left me because of my immature actions.

Skadi's always been the type of woman who I couldn't keep on a leash. She wanted to make the world a better place, kill the corruption in any way she could, and I couldn't convince her otherwise. To this very day, she still has that desire running through her veins.

The same desire that got her into this mess. Now she's public enemy number one for the cartel, and I'm being sent to guard her at one of our safe houses. Little does Skadi know I'm using this as an opportunity to reconnect with her again. For the sake of the Gods, she's my wife, and I refuse to lose her again.

I've felt enough shame for a lifetime, and this is my opportunity to make it right.
