The stories make you time travel and go to another location. Glad I heard her point of view and listened to this book of essays.

a couple of somewhat mean-spirited essays, but the rest are magnificent. important because these or nonfiction essays about Didion's life in Southern California during the late 1960s and most of 1970s

A great listen for insomniac! It put me to sleep almost instantly so it took days to finish it.
