held my interest, intriguing plot

I really enjoyed the story, I had trouble keeping all the characters straight, need more character development.

The story grabbed me from the start, which is always a good sign. The story was kind of quick, but that was OK. Left me wanting to read the next installment.

Things are not what they seem

The main character was developed to show inner strenght in spite of her miserable upbringing. The story had so many twists and turns and kept me guessing how the end would take shape.

Audiobook was somewhat boring.

I don't know if it was the narrator or the story, but it just seemed to drag on without ever drawing me in. I kept waiting for it to get more interesting, more exciting, but it never did. I felt like it was a waste of my time to have listened to it after it ended.
