Best book I've bought in a while!

I REALLY enjoyed this book! It was not one of those same 'ol tired run of the mill fake girlfriend or return to your hometown & reunite with your first love scenerios. This one was more grown up, I guess you'd say. Not so cutsie. Loved the storyline, the characters were likeable, sex scenes were hot & for an added bonus, I like that this author mentions their zodiac signs because I love astrology. Great narration too!

Another delicious listen from Arias!

J.J. Arias has become one of my go-to authors. I haven’t read a book of hers I haven’t liked.

One of my favorite things about her books is that she doesn’t cut corners. The stories are fully fleshed out and she takes the time to give readers satisfying endings.

This is narrated by Kingsley Rose, Arias’s most chosen narrator. She’s got a raspy, sexy voice and though there’s little differentiation between character voices, their frequent collaboration makes her the “voice” of J.J. Arias.

While the circumstances of Veronica and Ally’s meeting could have made this romance feel improbable or even a little icky, it’s anything but. In the end, it’s very romantic, hot and satisfying.

This book was amazing. Captivating and holding my attention throughout! A story of horrible beginnings not defining the journey. That there is beauty in the unexpected and healing in letting go.

Why did I wait so long

JJ Arias is always а must read. I have no idea why I put off reading/listening to this. I love the fierce, intelligent, sensitive, beautiful, complex characters she creates. Also wlw love is deep, so much chemistry, it's intense, passionate, emptional, never surface level, thoughtful and JJ always makes sure you feel that. It's never this insta love where you can't understand why they're together or too soon without much conversation. Also there's always lessons, healing, growth in her books. Thank you JJ for sharing your talent and your beautiful brain with us! Read this book, read all her books! You won't regret it!
