The Book was better

I loved the book so I was excited when the audio was released but disappointed the male narrator didn't read more. While I've liked Sierra Kline narrating other books, she didn't have the tone I imagined Kyah

Enjoyed the story

The story was entertaining. The narrator’s were good. But it was hard for me to get into it at first. Most of the books I listen to are duet narration so going to dual definitely takes time getting used to I get that audiobooks are expensive to make but I hate when the female narrator does the males part and vice versa it drives me crazy. Other than that I’d give it 4 🌶️ for the spice and 4 stars for the rest

No Romance Here

This was disappointing. I had no idea where the story was headed. I didn't like the leading lady and this was all see no romance

I’m about 3.5 hours in. The FMC has 3 friendship/blossoming relationships with 3 different men who I assume are red herrings for the stalker, 1 might actually be the stalker. We do not meet another female character AT ALL until 2 hours and 40 min (aside from a girl the stalker attacks in the epilogue, and iirc she doesn’t even have any dialogue- just mentioned by name).
The descriptions of sex are repetitive, the dialogue is unoriginal and the relationships among the characters are juvenile and overly dramatic. The characters act like high schoolers rather than adults who all work in a tattoo shop and are members of a motorcycle club.
I do enjoy the male narrator. He gives his character depth and life. He is the only reason I gave the performance 4 stars instead of 3. The female narrator isn’t bad but I feel like she was not a good fit for the character. She also didn’t do well with the male voices in her chapters. This would’ve done better as a duet.

The Book was predictable. Took so long to start getting good. To many unnecessary relationships

Had to return it, Narration was WAAAAY off

I wanted to love this book. I pre-ordered and counted the days, but both narrators had voices that were just so very wrong for these characters. It sounded so wrong and goofy to me I literally laughed out loud at it MULTIPLE times, and it wasn't supposed to be funny at all. Couldn't handle it. I'm sure they are both great, just so off here I returned the book after Chapter 2.
