She ran away and joined the circus!

Clementine literally ran away from her mid-life crisis life and joined the circus. Amongst the acts and craziness she realizes what is important in life. This book had laugh out loud funny scenes and toughing scenes as well. Clementine gets her HEA in a way you wouldn't expect but that was very satisfying. The author narrated the book and did an awesome job.

Delightful!

An Untameable Zebra is a delightfully entertaining and relatable read. It was just what I needed at the moment! It is a colorfully imagined, heartfelt romcom that we can all hope to relate to when life gets to be too much and we just want to run off and "join the circus." Have at it!
The narration was wonderfully done by the author, Louise Clover. Her dynamic voice and the accents she did so well made this an enjoyable story.

Not my ideal writing style or delivery...

I had such high hopes for this one, with that adorable cover and interesting premise. Unfortunately, the interest stops there. The writing was weak, rife with ‘telling’ over showing, making for a dull experience.

On this front, not good—the delivery is extremely robotic, making it extremely hard to pay attention. I had to constantly remind myself to listen to the awful droning on. 0 stars on this front.
