The eleventh installment in the bestselling series about a former contract assassin navigating the apocalypse with humor, charm, and explosive violence.

Deep in the mountains of West Virginia, Conor and his team are sheltering at the Banks Compound, desperate for some way to regain the momentum that billionaire Walter Lightspeed brought to the country. They’d been so close to recovery and now salvation slipped further away with each passing moment.

Desperate for a ray of hope amidst their grim reality, the team launches a mission to find someone who might be able to bring new energy to the national recovery effort. Someone America knows and respects. Someone who clawed their way up from poverty to build an empire. Someone plainspoken and unquestionably patriotic.

Yet even as the team attempts to kindle the flames of hope, forces beyond their control conspire against them and set in motion an event that will forever change this tight group of friends, family, and colleagues.

I loved this series. If there was anything I would have ever changed I would have given Connor a brogue and Barbara an eventual love interest. Something to soften her a bit and give her some humanity. I am sure the team can get into some major “trouble” in Europe. I’d love to read and hear about it.

Is this the end?

I really loved this series, I just hope this is not the end. To leave it like this would be a travesty.

I really loved this series.

Incredible! Serious, intense, great characters and also laugh out loud funny! I’ve loved every book in this series. Can’t wait for the next one!

I am writing this review after listening to all 11 books. I started it mainly because the first three books were bundled together for one credit so great value for me! I was thinking this could be a good fill in series between other listens. But, I was quickly wrapped up in the story, plots, and characters. Narration was great as Kevin Pierce is on my list of all time greats. Franklin Horton has now been added to my all time list too! After 11 books, I was pleased to see the author be able to keep the story fresh, and on track. If you like realistic post-apocalyptic books, check this series out.

GREAT binge series!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of this books and there's 11 books in the series and I certainly would recommend it. I hope that this is not the last book that I'll hear from Connor McGuire I have enjoyed it very, very much.

Great Story
