William saved the Imperial Princess and survived the Shard. Great. He’s done with all that nonsense.

Getting pulled into the Shard left a bad taste in William’s mouth. Thankfully, the Jade Healing Sect was there to help him in this time of need.

Staying within the safe walls would allow him to improve himself without needing to go through a meat grinder. It also allowed him to meet new people who weren't named Ren Bo! A new mentor, friends, a cheerful Imperial Prince, and traitors … wait, maybe not the last one.

William was about to discover that staying inside the sect was more challenging than it sounded.

The first Book was Better

This second book was ok and it showed life in the sect. However it was just a slow ride till the abyss section where it got much better. Now looking forward to next book.

mc still sucks

He's dumb, and for someone supposedly well versed in cultivation novels he should be dead.

it's not bad

it just seems to drone on, honestly not a whole lot of progression, that's not to say there isn't any it just sort of goes through daily life. it's kinda boring to listen to it.the first was much of the same though I got this one to see if it progressed more . I probably won't get the next book, there just wasn't enough of anything to motivate me into getting the next in series
