Favourite Kid is a dynamic sibling trio that has made a mark on Queensland’s indie-folk, alt-country, and pop music scene. It all began over five years ago when the older brother, Ethan, started writing and recording his songs as Aspy Jones. He then persuaded his sister, Jaimie, and brother, Saul, to join him. Favourite Kid celebrates neurodiversity and has performed at renowned venues and festivals, including the Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Mitchell Creek Rock ‘n’ Blues Fest, and the Caloundra Music Festival. Moreover, the songwriter, Ethan, was the first recipient of the Q Music Dalwood-Wylie Scholarship Award.

Jack Raymond has one of those voices. It's like the crackling of a campfire, the sound of boots on a gravel road, the meeting of whisky and ice. Originally from Harrietville, Victoria, this man of the mountains has travelled to the coast and settled in Noosa, Queensland. His style is "mountain roots" – rugged, raw, and grounded in blues with an easy folk undertone. Raymond is a storyteller, drawing inspiration from his travels and the characters he's met.

After a successful tour across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, Raymond has released his debut album, "The Long Story Short" a collection of musical tales that are catchy and upbeat, yet also deeply honest and raw.
