Wish it wouldn’t end!

I love every one of Melissa’s books and usually finish them a day or two after the release! Her storytelling is charming, laugh out loud humorous and emotionally fulfilling. The plot line on this one is so unique and I was drawn in immediately.
Equally well done was the performance, this narrator had a perfect delivery and was enjoyable to listen to.

Good story, mixed narration

The premise is good, the story is enjoyable except for the long winded passages that need serious editing. This is not helped by the narrator who speaks in high pitched, overly emotive grating tones while reading these run-on passages. The curious thing is that the narrator is clearly quite skilled at multiple voices, and her male love interest voice is wonderful. Sadly, there is not much of him speaking.
Would have liked a little more conversation between the two MCs.
Very happy to have no descriptive sex and no religion.

she is wonderfully descriptive in her writing and refreshingly witty. the twists and turns of the story kept me hooked from the start.
Narration was wonderful, and comforting.
