    In Rugby Union: Due to heavy rainfall in Cape Town on Tuesday 9 July, the pitch at Athlone Stadium was declared not safe to play.

    And the RWC U20 Ireland vs Australia was cancelled and both teams were awarded two competition points.

    Since then, the pitch has sufficiently drained to allow rugby to resume in safe conditions.
    So France vs Wales and South Africa vs England will go ahead as scheduled.

    In Combat Sports: Following the cancelation of their UFC303 main event fight on 29 June, a new date could be on the horizon for Conor McGregor versus Michael Chandler - and it may well be sooner than anticipated.

    Chandler has taken to social media to tease that a rescheduled fight against the mad Irishman could take place at the Las Vegas Sphere - UFC event on 14 September.

    And in the Paris Olympic Games: The 100M Women’s sprint World Champion – USA Track & Field star, Sha'Carri Richardson is glowing in gold for Vogue's August 2024 digital cover - photographed by Luis Alberto Rodriguez wearing a bright Ralph Lauren Collection bodysuit and skirt in the starting position on a track, with gold Nike sneakers and her signature long, decorated nails.

    Richardson had to sit out the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics after she tested positive for THC, a chemical found in marijuana.

    She opened up in an accompanying interview about her preparation, "Most people, only think of track every four years. The Olympics, that's all there is - those few seconds on TV. But for me, track is my life on a day-to-day basis. Everything I do - what I eat, what I drink, if I stay up too late - it's all reflected on the track. Every choice.
