I usually read crime books, psychological thrillers books that a grim and keeps my mind racing, books that needs decoding where the ending is supposed to be unknown a bigger shocker.

I decided to try something new, something slow where I already knew it would be sad, a little heart breaking, I also listen to books at 1.5 or 2 speed but this needed to be taken slowly word for word and pause for pause. I could say I never expected that twist. I usually guess who the killer is in thrillers because that's not makes it a thriller it's the ups and downs.

With this it's the slowness, the raw emotions hidden with a giggle or a dark humor. I want to eat your pancreas is nothing short of spectacular

This was a story of a young man, who lives in an isolated and closed world, meeting a classmate who faces her impending death with a smile. Through meeting her, his world changes. I liked that the story was very tangible and wasn’t over-dramatic. A honest and respectful depiction of high school, relationships, and death.

I loved the characters. It was a good reminder that we don't know how long we have without being to heart wrenching
