Can the Broken Ever Truly be Redeemed?

As a child, Lana Harrington loved the Lord. But then life happened, and Lana didn’t want anything to do with religion or Christ. As the owner of a successful cookie shop, one would think that things are perfect for the beautiful Lana. But outside appearances are often deceptive — just a mask for the turmoil that is really going on inside a person’s heart, soul, and mind. When Lana decides to take a hard look at her sense of spirituality, she starts to feel as if something is wrong, something is missing. Sometimes, when a sista seems broken beyond repair in the romance and spirituality department, it takes a true man of God to step in and help her put the pieces back together again.

Good story but virtual voice narration leaves a lot to be desired

I liked the story but not the virtual voice narration. Had to power thru listening to it. I may check out more of this author when/if I have time to read another one her books, but I can't do another virtual voice narration listen right now.

Great story of a broken yet graceful young woman finding peace again

I loved the story, but the virtual voice isn’t great. It didn’t take away, but an actual narrator would really elevate the experience.
