  • What does our future hold? That question has been asked by humans for a millennium. Ancient cultures, and modern ones, too, have often used dreams, animal sightings and more as symbols that foretell the future. In our story, “Backward Man,” by Caleb Taylor, a young man has seen a strange, horrific individual his whole life. And, whenever he sees it, someone dies.
    We'll also look into the lore of omens and common harbingers of death.
