Intense, addictive, and the ending… that’s a great cliffhanger

Ok now we are getting into it deep.
The audiobook is still great, Maxine Mitchell is an extraordinary narrator!

I loved how messy and emotional it all gets. The family politics, the alliances, the jealousy, the explosions… Every part of Mari’s world feels like it’s tightening around her.
And then that ending… I swear I just sat there staring at the page, trying to process what I’d just read.
That’s how you do a great cliffhanger.

Great series!

I've never read this author's books before. I've enjoyed this series. Not very spicy so far but love the characters and narrators did great. Great storyline
