Viciously Yours is a fast-paced new adult fantasy romance that focuses solely on the relationship between the two main characters. This is a romance book in a traditional fantasy setting with minimal world-building. It is book one in the Fae Kings of Eden series of interconnected standalones, that is best enjoyed in order.

The male main character is obsessed with his mate and does a few morally black things to those he deems a threat to his relationship. There are no shades of grey. The couple has minor obstacles, but there is no miscommunication, third-act breakup, or cheating. For mature listeners.

Perfect Quick Romantasy

Ahhh the SWOON!!!! The feels, the possessiveness, and those LETTERS! I absolutely LOVED this book.

I listened to Viciously Yours on audio as I read along in my kindle and both of the narrators were incredible!!

This book was fun, angsty, definitely swoony, had those unhinged moments that I love, made my heart feel GOOD, and brought the spice!

If you're a bit fatigued with long series this will hold you over until your next epic romantasy. This story is extremely tell with 0 show and this reads very much like the author had this interesting concept but knew putting something like this in a 3+ book series or even a duology would be a drag. This reads like the story was created around the concept and not with it (if that makes sense lol) so there's no world building and the overarching lore is very haphazardly thrown in leaving you very out of sorts with this world with no real grasp as the author was constantly throwing new random things in with no preamble. Can't even say the characters were well done because they all bordered on caricature and the miscommunication/misunderstandings will get to a point... BUT if you're just in the mood for instant gratification possessive mate vibes with no real stakes this will check that box. The miscommunication / misunderstandings don't overstay their welcome, even though our leads are very lust forward with no chemistry I still enjoyed how obsessed Rennick was. I personally skipped the sex scenes (because there's a lot gosh) but I still found myself interested in what new random thing would be thrown as us lol.

Since I'm a bit fatigued with long series I will definitely continue as I just want some possessive stand alone fun right now.

Lust and passion

I enjoyed the story line of love and passion. It’s not as gruesome as some of the others in the same genre which I liked! You can still feel the emotions the characters have.
