I just finished my marathon read of all 13 books! And I feel actually sad!
I fell in love with the characters and the storylines. The narration was the best I have ever heard- perfect fit for the characters, storylines and time period. Can’t wait for book#14 to be available on Audiobooks!

I enjoy the way Rodney Turner reads the stories. I am a little hard of hearing so it would be nice to have a little more volume. I have everything turned up and I get alerts that I need to turn the volume down but if I do I am not able to hear the narrative. Brad writes good stories and Rodney does well with the narrative.

Like most western books I enjoy how the honest and rueful come out on top.

The characters in Brad's story are completely believable and the story is well crafted around them. This series has grasped my heart from the beginning to the end.
I honestly believe this series could hold many books more than it does because these McCabes are literally a work of love and the true art of Western writing. I'll buy all the books Brad wants to write, with gusto and glee. I grew up in the Badlands of ND on a ranch and farm. It was the best life ever.
