A newly revised and updated edition of the internationally best-selling spiritual classic, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, written by Sogyal Rinpoche, is the ultimate introduction to Tibetan Buddhist wisdom. An enlightening, inspiring, and comforting manual for life and death that the New York Times calls, “The Tibetan equivalent of [Dante’s] The Divine Comedy,” this is the essential work that moved Huston Smith, author of The World’s Religions, to proclaim, “I have encountered no book on the interplay of life and death that is more comprehensive, practical, and wise.”

This 30th Anniversary edition includes a foreword by the Dalai Lama and is masterfully narrated by Lorraine Velez.

I loved the book, it gives you so many great insights and encourages reflection on life so that when death comes we can go in real peace. We must not be afraid of the inevitable.

However, I didn’t like the voice of the narrator, it sounds like AI. If I wanted that, I wouldn’t be paying a subscription

Great book to reflect on life

Listening to this audiobook was incredibly insightful and very thorough. Whether it was a human voice actor or AI, the voice was very soothing, and in my opinion, easy to listen to.
This audiobook was incredibly in depth for living and dying, and is incredibly insightful for anybody who is surviving someone’s death or is in the process themselves.

Wonderful ✨

I highly recommend reading/ listening to this book.
I recommend getting the book in print form. There is so much to learn and a physical book makes it easier to return to many passages in the book.
The Buddhist philosophy is so well explained.
The narrator, Lorraine Velez, has a wonderful voice, such a pleasure to listen to.
Only a “female voice” does justice to this amazing book.
My thanks to all involved, JK.
