This test work was conducted in collaboration with Fluor, the lead engineer for the project’s ongoing pre-feasibility study (PFS), at Hazen Research Inc. This milestone confirms the validation of each step in the processing flowsheet, a critical phase before completing the PFS. Rodger highlighted the significance of this achievement, noting its importance in reducing risks associated with the processing flowsheet and its potential to supply high-quality lithium chemicals to the US battery value chain. Since the PFS metallurgical test work program began in mid-2023, results have been encouraging, with the PFS expected to be released in Q4 CY2024. Jindalee’s processing method is similar to Lithium Americas’ Thacker Pass Project, situated 30 kilometres to the south. This similarity suggests comparable geology and validates Jindalee’s decision-making process.
