Many truths wait to be revealed and those who reveal them will be wrong along the way. Thoughtful approaches, willingness
to pivot, and positive energy may be conscious tools society employs on a course of lifelong journeys of “next things.” AI may
be new, old, akin to dreams and electrical patterns, foundational to simulations, or concepts we have not yet conceived. Or have we? Grappling with a future unknown, the words of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s late 19th century character Sherlock Holmes seem fitting in this time of discovery, “The game is afoot!” (Doyle,1984, p. 514).
