The Bikeriders Tour is an annual adventure that sees Lucero lead singer Ben Nichols and his longtime friend, tattoo artist Oliver Peck, hitting the open road to combine their passions for motorcycles, music, and tattoos. This unique tour allows them to travel around the country, with each day filled with tattooing and each night devoted to acoustic solo performances by Ben.

The origins of the Bikeriders Tour date back to 2011, when Ben Nichols embarked on the first tour alone, riding his trusty ‘07 BMW R1200GS. Inspired by his love for both motorcycles and music, Ben decided to merge these interests into a distinctive tour experience. The following year, Oliver Peck, along with a few other tattoo artists, joined Ben on their Harleys, turning the tour into an annual tradition that blends artistry, camaraderie, and the open road. Each year, they carve out a week or two to embark on this journey, creating memorable experiences along the way.

During the tour, Oliver Peck spends his days tattooing at local shops in each city they visit. His expertise and reputation as a top-tier tattoo artist draw in crowds eager to get inked by him. In the evenings, Ben Nichols takes the stage at nearby venues, delivering intimate acoustic solo shows that captivate audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Oliver, serving as the host and MC, adds a layer of camaraderie and entertainment, making each night a unique experience for attendees.

This year, the tour welcomes renowned Cleveland tattoo artist Greg Christian, adding even more talent and excitement to the lineup. With Christian's participation, the tour continues to evolve, offering fans and attendees an even richer experience.

The Bikeriders Tour is not just about music and tattoos; it's also about giving back. Sponsors like Simpson Motorcycle Helmets and White Knuckler Brand knives have generously donated helmets and handmade knives for nightly raffles. The proceeds from these raffles are donated to American Core, a nonprofit organization dedicated to veterans' mental health. This philanthropic aspect adds a meaningful dimension to the tour, allowing fans to contribute to a worthy cause.

The tour's name, Bikeriders, is derived from a Lucero song inspired by Danny Lyon’s famous book of photographs from the 1960s. The book's vivid depiction of motorcycle culture inspired Ben to write the song, which in turn inspired the tour. Despite the years and miles, Ben still rides the same BMW R1200GS he started the tour with in 2011, symbolizing the enduring spirit and continuity of this unique journey.
