Detroit's Tarik Skubal was stellar on the mound, pitching six innings, allowing only one earned run, and striking out nine for his 14th win of the season. Joey Wentz closed the game with three hitless innings, earning his first save. Seattle’s George Kirby struggled, giving up 11 runs in just 3.2 innings.
