For as long as I can remember, Lachlan West has been my brother’s best friend and the love of my life. Trouble is, he kissed me four years ago and then never spoke to me again. But the longer I stay in his small town, the more complicated our story gets. The boundaries we set fall to the ground—along with our clothes. He holds me like I matter, touches me like I’m cherished and kisses me like he loves me. We both know I have to leave Ember Falls, and he’ll never follow—I only wish I could write a different ending to our story.

Fun & Sweet

This was a great start to a new series! I adore Ainsley and Lachlan. They are a couple you root for. He’s the brother’s BF and they known each other for years while secretly pining. He’s the fire chief and a single dad. She’s a journalist who comes back to write a story on him. It’s a fun story with a great romantic plot. They both have issues when it comes to their fathers, and learning to grow and forgive things from their pasts. It was such a sweet read!

Wonderful New Series

I really like Lachlan, Ainsley and, Rose together. Lachlan and Ainsley have each secretly loved each other even when they were growing up next door to each other or when they were separated for four years because of a misunderstanding. I like everyone in the book and can't wait for the next book. Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin really brought the story to life.

Good story.

Enjoyable story. I loved this couple, they overcome a lot to reach their HEA. There’s something special about small town families, they love so fiercely and never afraid to get involved and tell you exactly what they think. All Too Well is a beautiful story full of love and d shenanigans.

While Ainsley was hurt by Lachlan’s disinterest, she still uses her sass and is unafraid to flirt with him now. And I loved that for her. Her feelings had been hurt years ago but she doesn’t fade in on herself around him now. Lachlan is a what you would expect of a small town firefighter. Even when others view him as a hero after a fire, he maintains he was simply doing his job. This type of humbleness is what he maintains until he has Ainsley 🥵

I loved the way this series is set up with each of the future MMC playing on a competitive Ultimate Frisbee league and being former high level athletes.

The banter and wittiness comes through the narration and it’s one of the reasons I love listening to audios.

Lachlan West and Ainsley sucked me in from start to finish! A single dad, brother’s best friend that has you hanging on the edge of your seat instantly. My heart was in pieces for Ainsley but now 4 years later she must face the man that broke her heart. Grumpy Lachlan had no desire in being part of the piece Ainsley needed to write but given his hidden feelings he couldn’t stay away. Jam packed with ALL THE FEELS I couldn’t get enough!
