This book is fab it’s raw it’s sad and irate me
Laugh a lot . But it’s a serious story behind the
Giggles and it’s very well written

Just the right amount of humor but also aha moments to make me feel like the author and I have had similar cringey experiences and make me feel less alone. Loved this book!

Honest and Helpful

This was such an honest and raw book about drinking, what contributes to it, how hard it can be to quit (when you know you should) and what it’s like afterwards. I appreciate the realness.

Raw and Real

No sugar coating here! The author's vulnerability is what draws you in. The detailed accounts of the ugly side of being an alcoholic and the beautiful, triumphant ending is what makes this book a real gem. Check out the Sober Awkward podcast too if you like this author! It has also been instrumental in maintaining my sobriety.

Raw and touching

I really enjoyed this touching life story. Vic relays her story openly and brutally honestly and in the process will become your “friend”. It certainly gave me inspiration to continue my own wonderful sober journey. Thanks Vic!
