A visit to an open house brings Stormy Day into the center of a troubling murder.

The local police aren’t lacking for suspects. The victim, Realtor Michael Sweet, was a bully who made countless enemies over his years in Misty Falls.

The problem for Stormy is that the most likely suspects are friends of hers. A couple of them couldn’t look more guilty if they tried. Helping the police to crack this case may break Stormy’s heart.

Worse, if she trusts the wrong person, Stormy’s heart may have bigger problems. Like getting stabbed a whole bunch of times!

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Stormy Day is back on the case.... or well she's not really on the case but someone close to her does die. Stormy had been on the scene the day before in large fountain....but the spouse of the deceased says their death has been greatly exaggerated. Everyone around her warns her off the case and she just keeps getting in deeper.

This was a cozy journey of whodunits filled with queen bees, root beer floats, cheerleaders, more Dimples, casino adventures and everyone's favorite cat Jeffrey.

This is the fifth and final (for now?) adventure for Stormy Day. Tiffany Williams is always an amazing narrator / voice actress who brings the sparkle and the wit to our favorite redhdeaded PI and the wacky small town inhabitants she is surrounded by.

This was an entertaining series.

If you liked Stormy Day I would also suggest checking out Wisteria Witch Mysteries by the same author and narrator team.

Death of a Double Dipper (Stormy Day Mystery #5) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Stormy Day visits an open house and it brings her to the center of a troubling murder. The victim was realtor Michael Sweet and was a bully who had many enemies in Misty Falls. Unfortunately for Stormy the most likely suspects are her friends. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Another interesting Stormy Day mystery. I enjoyed how she tried to stay out of the investigation but kept stumbling into it. There were plenty of red herrings to keep me guessing as to the culprit as there were plenty. I felt her guilt when she had to turn in her friends but knew it was for the best. I also really loved the interactions (or non-interactions) with Logan and look forward to the next in this series to see how it goes. I think they are so cute together.
The narration by Tiffany Williams made this story very entertaining with the humor as well as the seriousness. Great job.

I received a copy, and this is my unsolicited review.

Kept me listening. Enjoyed it and the narration.
