A dangerous magic. A cruel betrayal. A romance that could unravel time itself.

Julian Hartley is out of time. Reeling from a dark family secret, the eager university student fears his budding career as a mage will end before it’s begun. So he’s thrilled when he lands an apprenticeship with the reclusive Emeric Greywood, a master of time magic as brilliant as he is cruel.

But Julian soon finds himself snared in a web of betrayal. Desperate to shield his family, Julian gives in to a blackmailer’s demands to steal Emeric’s dangerous new research–research that could threaten the very fabric of time. Yet as they uncover the secrets of chronomancy together, Julian finds himself falling for Emeric–the very man he was sent to betray.

With the clock counting down, Julian weaves a perilous plan. But can he save Emeric’s research and his own heart before it’s too late?

I enjoyed the story but the AI narration does not have the ability to put emotion in the story through tone and voice or expressive reading.

Good story but the AI narration lacks prosody

Virtual Voice as the reader was not the best choice. No emotion and the pacing was really off. Story is good, but a little upset they wouldn’t give a real person a job

I enjoyed it, although Julian's secret went on a bit long. There got to be a point where I just wanted him to tell his mentor, but of course, they dragged it out to the very end. There is a certain Harry Potter feel to the whole story in hindsight which I did not notice at the beginning. There are complaints on Amazon that the story is totally AI Generated. I can't say for sure, but some parts felt disjointed and not consistent.
