Surviving a werewolf attack should’ve been the strangest thing to happen to me tonight. But no, the universe had other plans.
Now, I’m stuck dealing with a broodingly hot guy named Wesley St. John—who seems way too comfortable with murder. Definitely a red flag, right?
Wes isn’t just some guy I stumbled upon—he’s a protector, but not the friendly kind. His job is to keep the supernatural world in check, and my ignorance is making things complicated. But here’s the kicker: Wes and his secrets might just be the key to uncovering who I really am.
Because everything I thought I knew? Total lie.
Werewolves are real. And it turns out, I wasn’t born to fall for the most dangerous one of all—I was born to kill him.
This set includes the first 4 books in the bestselling young adult shifter romance series. Packed with swoon-worthy romance, enthralling mystery, and twists that you won’t see coming, Dirty Blood by Heather Hildenbrand is a must-listen for fans of shifters and young adult urban fantasy. Don’t miss this captivating series that will leave you listening long past bedtime!

If the brief amount of erotic thoughts were cut out, this series would make a prety good kids book. Then I would give it five stars instead of thee. The story is too predictable. In book one, it was easy to tell they were both going to have the same predicaments (trying not to spoil it totally). Right now I'm several hours into the second book and I can tell the author has set it up for the boyfriend at home to get jealous over one of the two boys that are being nice to her at school, and she's already starting to get confused. Even though we all now she will end up with her soul mate at home. I have only read one book where the author didn't use this same jealous scenario, and I left her a very jenous compliment on her Facebook page because I enjoyed reading a book that didn't follow the romantic stereotype. I'll change my review later if I'm wrong about the jealous boyfriend prediction. The narator takes getting used to. She tries to pronounce every word perfectly and it comes of sounding a bit choppy. Reminds me of listening to the chipmunks. The narator also has a hard time having unique voices for each character. If the narator is new, then I guess she's doing ok and will get better. I'll try to remember to update this when finally finish the series.
McKenzie Hunter's Sky Brooks series meets Twiligh.
