How does a girl become a witch? By accident, of course!

Leigh Epstein is a grief-stricken and lonely elementary school teacher who is devastated by the brutal and unexpected death of her true love at the hands of a careless writer. She overcomes her grief by taking matters into her own hands and takes up a little romance writing to resurrect her vampire-werewolf book boyfriend. Leigh gets more than she bargained for when she discovers that every steamy erotic scene she creates is magically reenacted by her family, friends, and coworkers.

In her hilarious first diary, Leigh unwittingly sets her parents up for a weekend dinner party that they will never forget. She has two weeks to find out what her newfound magic is capable of.

Can she prevent a wild erotic encounter that could devastate her sweet parent’s marriage? What and who else will get caught up in her magic spells? Listen to a story so witchingly fun that you won't be able to put it down, and you will be eagerly awaiting the rest of the Literal Leigh Romance Diaries!

This paranormal romantic suspense contains witches, witchcraft, magic, adult language and situations, and laugh-out-loud hilarity. Accidental Leigh is not intended for listeners under the age of 18.

This is a fun, short read. It hits the paranormal and witchy vibes, which are perfect for this season, and it throws in some humor, which I love. I go back & forth in October between darker, spookier, or horror stuff. Then I throw in something like this to cleanse the palate.

Leigh is our FMC, and she is beginning a writing hobby. So she gets this desk. Then she realizes her writing might be doing some weird things, causing her friends and family to act out scenes.

It moves quickly, and the side characters are fun and I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.

4 stars, low spice

A fun start to a new series.

This had a fun premise but I DNFed about 1 hour 36 minutes before the end because I seriously disliked the main character at this point.

She spends the afternoon with a friend ogling the workers fixing the friend’s roof and openly talking about their body parts, followed by “flirting” with those workers (hi, when you do this to people who are working for you, it’s called harassment). Then she gets the scoop on a blind date the friend had with a doctor, and apparently this doctor’s big sin was being short. The ladies launch into such a tirade of insults against this man, starting with calling him a troll doll and deciding his area of expertise is disgusting…all apparently triggered by his lack of height. I was done. There may be women who talk about people this way in real life, but in fiction they’re typically the antagonists, not the protagonist.

The narrator did a good job, I just feel bad for her having to act this scene.

Got too offensive
