the story line was absolutely awesome I'm very pleased with my choice

a hood listen it does have adult scenes but not over whelmed by it like others

well laid logical story

kept me wanting to listen more has me wondering if future stores on bringing the immortal realm under the empire maybe visit the chaos to find new wives as he travels

Great Book

I was enthralled with this book and finished it in only a few days. I loved the narration and storyline. It did feel like something was missing at the end. Everything gets wrapped up but, it does feel like it’s missing something.

Unnecessary games

I really wanted to like the story but the unnecessary games and his way of thinking when it comes to "gifts" and the women that he deals with is a bit of a turnoff. I will have to come back to this story another time and hopefully finish the series.

Great potential poor execution

MC is just too naive and childish for me. Takes him WAY too long to accept the obvious name thing. So adamant that he's not who he is that it puts them in danger. Overboard on the innuendo humor attempts. I'm fine with it in moderation but it's a straight childish rude obsessions sometimes. It really seems to interrupt the the story at pointless and improbable times.

I am updating my review because he admits and explains this behavior by saying his magic influenced his emotional behavior when he first arrived. Still doesn't change the fact that it make it harder to get into. I feel like that should have been reduced and made clear that's what was happening earlier on.
