Another Triumph for Inman

Shawn Inman never disappoints, with his imaginative well written prose. He does an amazing job painting his story canvas with well chosen words. I love the diversity and concrete definition of his characters.
And I love, love, love his narrator, Jonathon McClain! He brings the characters to life with his genuineness, warmth and intuition. They make a wonderful team!

R.o.u.s’s? So far from Guilder?!

Shawn Inmon is my favorite writer, there I said it. Hands down, time after time, he writes an incredibly gripping story that has me laughing, crying, gasping, and sitting on the edge of my seat. I’ve never been one for adventure stories but he somehow manages to pull me in with witty and entertaining characters, with fast moving plot points, with an engaging sense of familiarity as though I’ve been placed into the stories myself, Stranded is no exception to this rule. It’s fast paced and constantly making you anxious to find out what happens next. I can’t wait until Marooned comes to audible, especially looking forward to another Johnathan McClain performance.

Enjoyed the story

Enjoyed the audiobook. Narrator was a little strange at times! But I enjoyed being able to listen to the story.

Me Too, Melanie Too!!

Well, I can't even say how pleased I was to see this book pop up in my suggested titles! I'm a fan of Shawn's books, and was a bit heartbroken when Alex Hawk came to an end. I loved those characters! These stories take you to another place, another time. Right, now Feb 2025, it's desperately needed for me! When I get into a book, I need the characters to develop, the story to move at a pace one can follow, and draw one in emotionally. A good writer is a match maker, of sorts. They craft stories and a cast of characters that make you fall in love, and when it ends, later you find yourself sweeping the floor wondering where they are, what they are doing, how they are doing! If you're an avid reader, you understand. Shawn paints mental portraits of creatures you can see and smell! Landscapes you want to explore, and characters so woven together, you want to jump in and join the tribe!
You won't be disappointed. In fact, if you're not a fan, this book just might be the start of a miraculous adventure for you...jump in!

Shawn Inmon is a wonderful imaginable writer, with his new book Stranded he does not disappoint! Johnathan McClain brings all characters to life and keeps listeners engaged.

Stranded brings listeners within a portal of new worlds and happenings. Full of action and disappointment for characters in the book. Wonderfully surprised to see or hear slight memory of other books written by Mr. Inmon, intertwined in this book.

Left me wanting more, and look forward to the continuation of this story…

This book is worth the money I don’t leave feed back but this book is worth it. All the way around great book

Great start of a new series

Shawn Inmon crafted an excellent story that is an mashup between an adolescent version of "Land Before Time" and "Jurassic Park" with a time travel vibe to it. He also created a diverse cast that included scientific, military, engineering, hapless and, of course, an insidious company man.

The world building is well done, as are the monstrous creature that inhabit this world.

There are plenty of twists and surprises and a subtle, but constant "devil may care" tone to the story that often amuses one when it's encountered.

Johnathan McClain is an excellent narrator and his performance here proves no different.

I will definitely keep a close eye for book 2 on the series.

When are the next two coming out in audio?! Can’t wait! This book never slowed down it was a wild romp through a world that everybody thinks about and read about and one for more of another! This one tops at all!
