This book is full of epic baseball tales of grit, determination, and courage of inspiration for all ages, even though it is geared for young readers, these stories will inspire every baseball fan to persevere and overcome any challenges and setbacks. I love the author's choice of featured stories from many eras and legendary players like Jackie Robinson, Ichiro Suzuki, and Babe Ruth.
Every chapter offers a full page hand drawn image of each featured player, followed by a famous quote, the inspiring athletes story and some incredible reflection questions! My son loved the big drawn images and colored them as he read through the book!! This is definitely a motivational book captivating true tales and history, as each amazing player has a story that can bring inspiration to others!
