Ugh

A lot. The frustration of the main character and the stupidity of her. The man reading read to fast like he was trying to just finish his part. Words where skewed because of his rush.

Fallen below expectations

After reading Notorius, I expected more from the story. The heroine's circumstances (Elizabeth) made her desperate and she tried to please men and family throughout the story. The male gardener was a very hurt individual with his own personal strife in the story. He was not a very likable character. Elizabeth has low self esteem and does not know what real love is as opposed to infatuation. Very disappointed in the short wnding where rhere is a happy ending and all is well. I would not recommend.

terrible narration, and lazy ending

the man's narration was so monotone, it was hard to want to continue. the woman's was just outright ridiculous. upbeat tone during serious or angry dialog, and the intimate scenes were laughable. the writing itself was descent until the end. it seemed the author just gave up on a descent ending. both characters are weak with 0 backbone.
