Very Detailed

Covers a lot of topics. Very educational. My favorite chapters were about how dogs help with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

This was an incredible story!

I loved it all, I found myself listening in my car in addition to leisure listening.

Love of dogs

I’m a dog groomer, in my job I often feel burn out. Listening to this book while grooming I’ve cried, laughed and felt such a warm place in my heart growing all over again. I started this job, much like the dogist, because of my love of animals. I wanted to pet dogs all day long. There is so much information here. I 100% recommend everyone should read this if you want any interaction with dogs in any way. It highlights the good and bad of ownership, breeding, life, death and love of dogs. I can not say enough, read this book.

Amused and Comfort Learning

This was the most amusing yet comforting form of learning I've ever experienced. My anxiety over badly wanting a dog, yet knowing little about how to handle life with a dog was calmed. Every dog is different, regardless of breed. Thus every dog is a new lesson for every owner. Even the most experienced pet owners.

If you love dogs you’ll love this book

The stories are all great. I’m sorry to say, Elies is not as gifted an audio book reader as he is photographer.
