I love every one of Ania’s books! This one is no exception! Short and nasty!! I hate roaches!

The palmetto bugs

I don’t know how I missed the fact that this is a novel full of flying palmetto bugs. I hate bugs in general but palmetto bugs terrify me. I am proud I made through this novella and didn’t barf. I curled my toes though.

Weird

I wasn’t a big fan of this roach story. I kept waiting for the twist or dramatic finish. I was left hanging…

I mean…meh.

While there was definitely an ick factor, especially if you suffer from katsaridaphobia, I was hoping for more of a climax. Something more sinister. It was a VERY quick listen, and I would say it’s worth a listen because of that. I’ve loved other stories from this author more and much prefer the darker, bleaker stuff.

I really like these books, they keep me very interested. I read this book all in one day and I never do that.
