Decent book

The story was enjoyable.

The ending felt slightly rushed to me, but maybe that's just because I wanted to know more of why and how certain things happened. And maybe that is also why this book felt a bit short.

However, I really enjoyed the story overall. I especially liked that the author prepares you for the plot twists - they made sense and didn't come out of nowhere. This also encourages an immediate re-read to see and appreciate the little clues even more (and re-read/re-listen I will).

Narrator did a great job as well.

The first thing you need to know going into this: the protagonist is not a hero, and far from a good person. She puts the "psycho" in YA psychological thriller. The twist in the epilogue pays off the itch in the back of your head, and ties up these characters perfectly that makes a re-read more valuable. A quick read, but satisfying conclusion.

Incredible storyline with exciting plot twists. Rory power is incredible in the way how she tells a story, giving us many details overtime and slowly un feeding the whole picture.
