Ein befreundeter Zauberer bittet Petronella, einen seiner Schüler für ein paar Tage bei sich aufzunehmen. Petronella sagt zu, obwohl im Haspelwald die Glühnasenkrankheit grassiert und sie alle Hände voll zu tun hat.
